Heiliger Geist, du Tröster mein is a short organ prelude of moderate difficulty.  It was written for publication in the Certosa Orgel Büchlein, a group of 33 brief organ preludes for the church year published in 2021. The text was translated from Latin into German by Martin Muller (1547-1606) and the melody by an unknown composer first appeared in 1633 .

The tuneis repeated three times: first in the soprano, secondly in the bass, and lastly in the pedals an octave lower.
